Thomas H. Ryan, 68, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 22, 1949, Tom was raised by his loving parents, Bud and Charlotte (Heyman) Tinbruin.

Tom was a graduate of Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in education. He served the Noblesville Community School Corporation as their director of special education for many years; he retired in 2004.

Along with his parents, Tom is also preceded in death by his brother, Richie Ryan and his sister, Cathy Didier.

Survivors include his two children, Travis M. (Heather Williams) Ryan of Charleston, South Carolina and Megan S. (Dominic) Mina of Indianapolis; and three grandsons, Juliano, Luca, and Brody; two nephews, Shaun Didier and Timothy Didier and their families.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Tom’s life from 11a.m. to 12p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Cicero Christian Church located at 1715 Stringtown Pike, Cicero, IN 46034. The memorial service will begin at noon. Final care and arrangements are entrusted to the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home.
