Thomas F. Donahue

Thomas F. Donahue, 80, Indianapolis, formerly of Lockport, IL, passed away on November 30, 2016. He was born in Joliet, IL on June 9, 1936 to Cyril and Theolinda Merriman Donahue. He was a graduate of Joliet Catholic High School in Joliet, IL and St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and served in the United States Army. Tom worked for Hartford Insurance Group in Chicago, Milwaukee and Indianapolis before retiring as a supervisor from Indiana Lumbermen's Mutual Insurance Company in 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joanne (Donahue) Ferguson; brothers, Richard and Robert Donahue. He is survived by his wife Arlene Frieh Donahue and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. in St. Barnabas Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, December 5, 2016 from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home where morning prayers will be said on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. prior to Mass. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. in O'Neil Funeral Home, 1105 E. 9th Street, Lockport, IL followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville, Illinois.
