Sylvester Edward Zaragoza

Sylvester E. Zaragoza, the infant son of Javier and Andrea (Somerville) Zaragoza, of Greenwood, passed away at 30 weeks and 4 days on the evening of June 22, 2021 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis. He weighed 3.8 ounces and was 7.5 inches long.

Although the Zaragoza’s pregnancy had a few battles, sweet Sylvester was a courageous fighter. Sylvester loved making his mommy crave chocolate, Taco Bell, and pizza. He really enjoyed it when she would go shopping and walk around, but truly enjoyed when both of his parents would talk to him.

Sylvester was born with many attributes from his father such as his chin, nose, and hands. Although he greatly resembled his father, he got his toes from his mother. Sylvester was perfect in every way and will be forever loved by all his loved ones left on earth.

Along with his parents, Sylvester is survived by his paternal grandparents, Julian Zaragoza and Teresa Martinez; his maternal grandparents, Christopher Somerville & Sara Somerville and Karen Wright; his paternal great grandmother, Demetria Lugo-Zaragoza; his maternal great grandparents, Kim Silbaugh, Steve Somerville, and Marsha and Ed Parrott; his maternal great, great grandmother, Mary Tinkle; his aunts and uncles; Jose, Sandy, and Felipe Zaragoza, Carmen Martinez, and Blaine Somerville; a host of cousins and other relatives.

A memorial visitation for baby Sylvester will be on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.
