Kevin Edmond Kirk

Kevin Edmond Kirk, 57, Indianapolis, passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. He suffered from complications derived from congestive heart failure. He was the former husband of Cathy Foy Kirk. They shared 27 years of marriage together. Born in Indianapolis, he was the son of the late Richard and Phyllis Kirk. He attended Roncalli High School and Greenwood Community High School where he was an enthusiastic member of the basketball team before graduating in 1977. Kevin was employed as a Project Manager by the City of Indianapolis Department of Public Works for 25 years. He will be remembered for his vivacious personality, generosity, and thirst for knowledge. Kevin is survived by his son, Austin Kirk; daughter, Mackenzie Kirk; sister, Kathleen Woolvin (Philip); grandson, Lennon Watson; and former wife, Cathy Kirk. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in Daniel F. O'Riley Funeral Home 6107 S. East St. (US Hwy 31 South)., Indianapolis, IN 46227.
