Beau Bowling

June 15, 2020 — June 15, 2020

Beau Bowling, infant son of Brandon and Mady (Johnson) Bowling, passed away at Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis in the early morning hours of June 15, 2020. Beau was born at 21 weeks and 4 days. He weighed 14.25 ounces and was 10 inches long. He has his daddy’s eyes and lips and mommy’s fingers and toes. He was absolutely perfect in every way.

Although the Bowlings had a difficult pregnancy with many bumps in the road, little Beau was such a strong courageous fighter, who held on when many thought he couldn’t. His strong heartbeat was such a soothing sound for his parents to hear at every doctor’s appointment! Beau’s mommy liked to joke she had a little mouse in her belly because Beau had a love of cheese, just like his daddy. Beau entered this world on his own terms and stole so many hearts in his short time here on earth.

A big number around the Bowling household is “22”; his daddy’s football number and his due date. Beau’s fighting spirit held on for 22 minutes this side of heaven.

Beau’s family takes comfort in knowing he was welcomed into heaven by many loved ones and his puppy dog, Sam.

Along with his parents, Beau’s loving family includes his paternal grandparents, Susie (Kelly) McClure and Paul (Susie) Bowling; maternal grandparents, Judy Johnson (Jon Starr) and Darrell (Kelly) Johnson; a maternal great grandmother, Lois Snyder; aunts and uncles, Jordan (Christine) Johnson, Cody (Whitney) Johnson, Heather (Tim) Aker, Jenny McClure, Preston Bowling (Tori Colestock), Miranda (Roberto) Polito, Amanda (Ryan) Spurlin, and Chris (Amber) Raider; and cousins, Luke, Landon, Elaina, Branson, and Cameron.

The Bowlings would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and medical staff who cared for Beau along the way, especially Dr. Szentes, Dr. Meng, and an angel here on earth his nurse, Corrina who remained with him throughout most of his brief time with his family.
Final care and cremation arrangements are entrusted to the O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis. Please visit www.ORileyFuneralHome.com to leave an online condolence for the Bowling family.
