Anna M. Everroad

September 20, 1950 — December 23, 2021

Anna M. Everroad, 71, of Greenwood, passed away during the early morning hours of December 23, 2021, at the Franciscan Hospice House with her family by her side after a courageous battle with her health. Anna was born on September 20, 1950, in Beech Grove, Indiana to the late John and Delores (Skillman) Miller. On September 13, 1969, Anna wed Ralph Everroad in St. Roch Catholic Church; Ralph survives.

The oldest of six children, Anna was raised on the south side of Indianapolis in St. Roch Catholic Church. Anna graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1968. In 1969, Anna began working for Ray Envelope for several years, then went on to Ris Paper which later became Millcraft; she retired from Millcraft on May 31, 2017, after 48 years of dedicated service.

When not working, Anna loved going to the casino and playing the slots. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially Hand and Foot. Pull tabs, bingo, and an occasional beer were enjoyed by Anna. She was generous to a fault; she would give a stranger the shirt off her back. Ralph and Anna enjoyed traveling on cruises to favorite destinations such as Aruba, The Bahamas, Jamaica, Cancun, Cozumel, Hawaii, and St. Martin. She also enjoyed her stateside trips to Las Vegas and Kentucky.

Having no children of her own, Anna was a devoted aunt to each of her nieces and nephews.
Anna was a loving wife, incredible older sister, and caring daughter; her bold personality and zest for life will be missed.

Along with both of her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her brother, Michael A. Miller; brother-in-law, Billy White and a nephew, William Charles White III.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Ralph Everroad; her siblings, Judi (Gary) Delk, Mary (Stu) Moyer, Ruth (William) White, John (Cathy) Miller, sister-in-laws, Mynevia Miller and Robin (Terry) Small; a host of nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family members.

Anna’s family would like to extend a special thank-you to the doctors and nurses in the AICU at St. Francis South Hospital and the Franciscan Hospice House for the excellent care they provided to Anna and their family during the last month of Anna’s stay there.
