Rebecca Sue Davis

Rebecca Sue Davis, 59, Indianapolis, passed away suddenly at home December 23, 2017. Rebecca was born September 6, 1958, in Anderson, the daughter of the late Wess and Georgia (Edington) Cuzzart.

She graduated from Madison Heights High School. Rebecca served her country for 21 years in the United States Army, retiring in 2003 as a staff sergeant. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and cross-stitch. Above all, she was a loving mother and grandmother who simply loved to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her loving family.

She was one of ten children, and her siblings included Jimmie Caplinger, Dean Edington, Daryl Edington, Yvonna Lawson, Skyra Edington, Darla Edington, Karen Scheroloke, Loretta Williams, and Susie Brockmeier.

She is survived by her children, Andrew Davis, Josh Davis, and Megan Davis; grandchildren, Evan, Blake, Jordan, Zoey, Malachi, and Madyx; the father of her children, Joseph Davis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017, 4 to 8 p.m., at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Friday, December 29, 2017, in the funeral home. Burial will be in Westridge Park Cemetery.
