Edward Thomas "Tom" Cullom

Edward Thomas “Tom” Cullom, Jr., 84, Indianapolis, former long time resident of New Orleans, Louisiana and St. Louis, Missouri, passed away June 15, 2017. Mr. Cullom was born in Alexandria, Louisiana on August 5, 1932, to the late Edward Thomas and Dorothy (Randolph) Cullom.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War and graduated from Tulane University. He was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for many years and retired as a Regional Sales Director. He was an avid international traveler and also loved dogs. He was always loyal to the NFL teams related to the cities in which he lived – the Saints, Rams, and more recently the Colts. Above all, Tom was strongly devoted to his family and was a proud grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Randolph Cullom and sister, Dorothy Gilligan.

Survivors include his wife, of 56 years, Miriam (Hartz) “Mimi Cullom; a son, Dr. Edward T. Cullom, III (Mary Beth) of Mississippi and a daughter, Kimberly A. Cullom-Curran (Mike) of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Edward Thomas Cullom, IV, Connor Cullom, and Alexandria Cullom.
