Dean Bryant

Dean Bryant, 59, Beech Grove, passed away peacefully at home on the afternoon of April 6, 2017. Dean was born March 6, 1958, in Indianapolis, to the late Frederick and Mary Ruth (Morgan) Bryant.

Dean was full of life and had a very creative and artistic spirit. He enjoyed writing poetry, but above all was happiest when he was spending time with his grandchildren. Dean loved motorcycles, especially Hondas. He will be fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory H. Bryant.

He was the father of Richard (Maura) Bryant, Nicholas (Amanda) Bryant, and Jay Bryant and dad to many including David (Brandy) Worthington and Keith Persinger. Additional survivors include brothers, William K. Bryant and Douglas M. Bryant; sister, Katrinia Bryant-Turpin; grandchildren, Julian, Logan, Austin, and Madison Bryant; many nieces, nephews.

According to Dean’s wishes, cremation will take place. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017, 5 to 8 p.m., in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. A party to celebrate Dean’s life will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, 2 p.m., at 2302 Albany Street, Beech Grove.
